With more than 30 years of management consulting and healthcare industry experience, Craig Jensen, MBA, is joining Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) as vice president of strategic planning and business development. In this position, Jensen will help identify key changes and trends within the health care environment and provide a roadmap for the future growth of NAH.
Jensen is respected in the industry for his ability to think conceptually and to develop and implement creative ideas. His skills and expertise will contribute to NAH’s mission and vision for the future.
Jensen comes to NAH from Phoenix, where he was with Banner Health as a senior planning director responsible for new hospital sites and the ambulatory services growth strategy. Under his guidance, a new hospital opened in 2011 and nine new health centers opened in 30 months, with 10 more in the planning stages. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami, where he graduated magna cum laude in mechanical engineering. He earned his master of business administration degree from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
NAH provides health care services through Flagstaff Medical Center, Verde Valley Medical Center, Verde Valley Medical Center – Sedona, Northern Arizona Homecare and Hospice, The Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona, Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare, Fit Kids of Arizona and Guardian Air. The system provides the only Level I Trauma Center and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit north of Phoenix.
NAH is the largest healthcare organization in Northern and Central Arizona, serving almost one half of the state and experiencing more than 150,000 patient visits each year.
