Prior to joining Natural Look Now, LLC, Jill Camirand has been a massage therapist for nine years. She is nationally certified as well as Board Certified. She became interested in massage while working in a chiropractic office. She loved learning about the body and finding ways to help people with pain. As a result, she decided to attend massage school at ASIS in Clarkdale. As an athlete, Camirand focused on sports massage and rehabilitation. After graduating, she opened up her own business called Health and Healing Massage, where she provided clients with a variety of techniques based on their needs. She also returned to the chiropractic office to provide rehabilitative massage for clients in need.
After years of practice, Camarand was diagnosed with brain cancer, and had to undergo two brain surgeries at the Mayo Clinic. She was in treatment for nine months but was able to get back to work with a new passion and energy for helping those in need. She began to open her mind to new opportunities in medical massage and became certified in Cancer Massage. She found that being a cancer survivor is such a benefit when working on clients. Her primary goal is to make sure their relaxation is promoting healing. She is able to respect their situation personally because of her experience – and she learned that everyone’s situation is different. She learned from her experience how healing happens and loves that she can help others.
As a massage therapist at Natural Look Now, Camirand is able to provide multiple techniques to suit each individual’s needs. Her certifications include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Rehabilitation, Lymphatic Drainage, Gua Sha, Resistance/Release, Connective Tissue, and Cancer Massage. FBN
