Mari-Carmen Carranza of World Class Massage has not only remodeled and expanded her massage space but has added an art gallery for local vendors. Located on the corner of San Francisco and Birch, the new gallery will include local artists Painted Tree Gallery & Gifts by Kathi Clark, Cowboy Photography by Parker, Yes, I do Windows by Joan McKee, Three-Dimension Artwork by John Stebila, Paintings in Oil by Suzanne Stebila, Turn of the Wheel Ceramics by Sandra Quintarilla, Arizona Ocarinas Sculptured Songbirds by John Marcus, Jewelry by Hopi artist Poeceille Calnimptewa, Tours of Hopi Land Sculptures by Evelyn Fredericks, and Napa Valley Inspirations by Fresh Focuses Photography by Veronica “Ronnie” Tierney.
Carranza, who specializes in foot and full-body massage offers deep tissue, hot stone, and couples massage and has created a “very peaceful atmosphere” amongst the busyness of downtown Flagstaff. She recently added a “lunch special” to her menu of services which includes a leg and foot massage while you eat your lunch. “This is a great way to relax on your lunch hour while gaining all the benefits of foot massage,” says Carranza. “Research has shown that leg and foot massage relieves fatigue, increases circulation and has a positive effect on the whole body.”
World Class Massage and the Art Gallery are located at 120 N. San Francisco Street in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. Hours are between 8:00 and 6:00 with extended hours for first Friday’s Artwalk as well as off-hour massages. For more information or appointments, call (928) 266-8822.
