Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) recently announced that it has been selected by Bashas’ to participate in its $50K Community Choice Challenge. The challenge is voted on by the public, and the Arizona non-profit that receives the most votes will receive $50,000. If wedding bells were still being used in ceremonies, the ringing would be nearly constant at Arizona Nordic Village. Flagstaff High School teacher, jeweler, environmentalist and avid cyclist Ava Miller has found her niche recycling bike parts, including tubes and spokes into fashionable earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Miller says her business, Velo in a Jar, was inspired by her father’s love for cycling.
