The Flagstaff Convention and Visitors Bureau has developed a northern Arizona Snow play Map, both an English and Spanish version, for visitors to use when seeking winter recreation options in the north country. In 2002, the City of Flagstaff began work on an Airport Master Plan, which was completed in 2007. A couple of interesting things came out of that study. First was a short-term goal to reach 70,000 annual enplanements (defined as the total number of passengers boarding an aircraft). NAU Joining DCT as Partner
Officials from Lowell Observatory and Northern Arizona University (NAU) signed paperwork Tuesday formalizing NAU as a Discovery Channel Telescope (DCT) partner. NAU joins current DCT science partners Boston University, the University of Maryland and the University of Toledo.
