ADEQ Approving Flagstaff’s Reclaimed Water
The City of Flagstaff has received authorization from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) to begin distributing Class A reclaimed water. This eliminates the need to supplement reclaimed water with potable water and current restrictions on the amounts of reclaimed water used by our current reclaimed water customers. Fire Restrictions Lifted
As the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests revert to Stage 1 fire restrictions, which confines campfires to developed campgrounds, Coconino County is lifting its fire ban today. Ample monsoonal rainfall throughout Northern Arizona has brought much needed moisture to tinder-dry forests and area landscapes. Supervisors Choosing New County Manager
The Coconino County Board of Supervisors selected Cynthia Seelhammer – a veteran local government professional with 28 years in public service – as the County’s next manager. The position was vacated when longtime county employee and former County Manager Steve Peru retired in November 2011.
