Campfire and smoking restrictions will be implemented at 8 a.m. Wednesday on the entire Coconino National Forest and on the Williams and Tusayan Ranger Districts of the Kaibab National Forest in order to protect public health and reduce preventable human-caused fires. Bike to Work Week is an annual event held throughout the United States and Canada,to promote bicycle riding as a mode of transportation. The House Natural Resources Committee is passing a major jobs bill introduced by U.S. Reps. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., and Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., that would bring thousands of jobs to Arizona’s Copper Corridor.
