Phoenix is the second hottest U.S. Market for new car sales, following Atlanta, Georgia. The information was released today by Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information. Coconino County Public Health Services District (CCPHSD) officials announce today that mosquitoes found in an area southwest ofFlagstaff have tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV). In celebration of National Public Lands Day and to encourage a shared sense of land stewardship, the Forest Service announces another “fee free day” Saturday, September 24, along with several volunteer events. The number of homes sold in Flagstaff jumped in August. With few new listings, Flagstaff housing inventory makes slim pickings for home buyers for now. Flagstaff home sales volume in August 2011 went up over 11% from a year ago and the median sales price was up 1.7% from August 2010 for Flagstaff single family homes.
