Fire Restrictions Beginning Friday
Because of the dry conditions, the City of Flagstaff will implement Stage 1 Fire Restriction this Friday. Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in the City of Flagstaff include a ban on all fire pits and other open flame devises (ex: Chimayo) – even those with a spark arrestor. Fisher Fire Final Update
The Fisher Fire transitioned to a Type 4 incident at 6:00 a.m. this morning, down-sizing to local resources as crews begin to demobilize and prepare for other assignments. Yesterday, firefighters patrolled the fire’s perimeter gridding for smokes and hot spots. The fire, held at 175 acres, is currently 75% contained.
