North Country Helping to Solve Physician Shortage
North Country HealthCare has received notice of an early holiday gift. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced that it will fund North Country’s family medicine residency program with a $5.4 million grant over four years. Four new doctors are expected to begin training in July 2020. HRSA’s funding will come from its Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education (THCGME) Program.
